Refund Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
Last Updated: January 1, 2025
IMPORTANT: Please read this Refund Policy carefully before enrolling in any of our courses. By completing enrollment and payment, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy and agree to its terms.
1. Overview
At FinanceCare UK, we strive to provide exceptional educational services and ensure student satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for our financial consulting courses and certification programs.
This policy applies to all courses offered through our website https://financecare.uk/ and complies with UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
2. Cooling-Off Period (14-Day Right to Cancel)
2.1 Consumer Right to Cancel
Under UK consumer protection law, you have a statutory right to cancel your course enrollment within 14 days of purchase without providing any reason. This "cooling-off period" begins on the date of enrollment confirmation.
2.2 How to Exercise Your Right to Cancel
To cancel within the cooling-off period:
- Send a clear written statement to: [email protected]
- Include your full name, enrollment date, course name, and order number
- State your intention to cancel the enrollment
You may use our cancellation form template or write your own notice. The cancellation is effective from the date you send the notice.
2.3 Full Refund Conditions
You will receive a 100% refund if:
- You cancel within 14 days of enrollment
- You have NOT accessed course materials or commenced the course
- You have NOT attended any live sessions or workshops
2.4 Partial Refund or No Refund
If you cancel within 14 days BUT have already accessed course materials or attended sessions:
- You will receive a partial refund proportionate to the services not yet provided
- We will deduct the value of services already received based on the course duration and content accessed
2.5 Express Consent and Loss of Cancellation Right
By accepting our Terms at enrollment, you expressly agree that course delivery may begin immediately. Once you commence accessing course materials, you acknowledge that your right to cancel may be modified as described above.
Example: If you enroll in a 12-week course, access course materials immediately, and request cancellation after 7 days having completed 2 weeks of content, you would receive a refund for the remaining 10 weeks only (approximately 83% of the course fee, minus administrative costs).
3. Refund Eligibility Beyond the Cooling-Off Period
3.1 General Policy
After the 14-day cooling-off period, course fees are generally non-refundable. However, we recognize that exceptional circumstances may arise, and we evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
3.2 Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests may be considered for genuine exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Serious illness or injury: Preventing course completion (medical documentation required)
- Family bereavement: Death of an immediate family member (documentation required)
- Relocation: Unavoidable employment-related relocation affecting course access
- Course cancellation: If we cancel a course or significantly change course content
- Technical issues: Persistent technical problems on our end preventing course access
3.3 Refund Calculation for Exceptional Circumstances
If a refund is approved for exceptional circumstances:
| Time Elapsed Since Enrollment |

| 15-30 days |
75% of course fee |
| 31-60 days |
50% of course fee |
| 61-90 days |
25% of course fee |
| Over 90 days |
No refund available |
Note: Refund percentages are calculated on the remaining course value, not the total fee paid, and are reduced by any administrative costs (typically £50).
